After so much use my collagraph printmaking plates become unusable in the printmaking process, so my focus shifts to the worn and patina-laden surface. In order to preserve and reuse the resultant image of the plate, the plates are scanned, and digitally altered to construct a hypnotic pattern. There is a shift in scale of the pattern as the artwork moves from object to painting.
