These mixed media works play out a life cycle of a readymade object. Beginning with a cardboard package as a subject, a reductive and additive drawing takes place. These drawing processes create a texture on the surface of the package transforming it into a collagraph plate. The plates are used to produce a series of prints, which create a patina on the surface and leads to the degradation of the plate. Eventually the plate becomes overused and loses its ability to print, at this point it will return to being an art object.
