The flattened package is used as a stencil to trace its folded form. This tracing of compartmentalized forms lays out the groundwork for a painting. The Archetype series includes a number of ink on paper works that reveal a range of influences – from Science Fiction films to Mesoamerica Art. The transcription of painted marks is intuitive and unfiltered, as I let any sensation or memory to permeate into the work.
