These works are a continuation of a process-based series that begins with using flattened packaging as a stencil to produce a preliminary pencil drawing. Many influences intuitively and unconsciously enter into the paintings, expressing the universality found within our visual culture. In this series, I contend with a shift in scale that references an abstract body (figure). Strategies of overlapping and nesting forms are also used to create multiple and simultaneous shifts in perspective.
