These works begin by collaging flattened, packaging containers with an archive of personal photos. In the collages, prosaic stock images are covertly replaced with intimate, Instgram-esque photos: our collective memories combine with traces of familiar brands and everyday products. The geometry and cultural baggage of the containers reformat the appropriated images. This produces a playful exchange between consumerism, memory, and nostalgia.
